Community Outreach
The Duck River Woodturners club participates in charitable events through the donation of finished woodturning items. We also help to educate the community about the art and craft of woodturning through hands-on teaching (often in conjunction with local schools). The club also attends local community events and performs live demonstrations at the event (when possible).
Members turned various items that were donated to the American Legion Post 19 and Columbia Breakfast Rotary Club to be used in the 2022 Mule Day Auctioneers Championship. This year, 22 auctioneers from 9 different states competed. The proceeds from this auction event are used to provide scholarships for local students.

In conjunction with the Hall's Mill Turning Club, members turned wig stands to be donated to the Maury Regional Cancer Center.
